Strategy & Systems Manager, Communications at OpenAI in San Francisco

About the Team OpenAI’s Communications team is building a new model for how communications teams work, combining strong strategic judgment and point of view, effective operating systems, and the growing capabilities of AI. We’re looking for a strategy and systems manager to help make that model real. As part of the Communications Strategy & Systems team, you’ll translate priorities into action, lead high-impact initiatives from idea through execution, and design better ways for the team to work. You’ll take ownership of complex projects that need clear thinking, strong follow-through, and a willingness to challenge how the work has traditionally been done. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of three days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance.
