About the role As a Manager, Compute Accounting at Anthropic, you will execute day-to-day accounting for our compute and cloud infrastructure spend, ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust controls as we scale. You'll be responsible for preparing compute cost accounting, including accruals, prepaids, accounts payable reconciliation, expense classification, and commitment tracking. This role requires hands-on month-end close experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build scalable processes and controls in a high-growth environment, with a strong appetite for process improvement and automation. You'll work directly with Engineering, Procurement, and Finance & Strategy to resolve issues and ensure that costs are captured accurately and in compliance with our agreements.
